I definitely understand about moving and holding on to stuff you forgot you had but glad you kept and the weight of long boxes. They didn't seem to be this heavy in the past but some things definitely get lighter the older we get like the weight of negativity and mean people. Absolute Superman is on my pull list and this is the most excited I've been over a Superman comic in awhile! Safe travels to NYC and I'm looking forward to your new project announcement. If I see the ashcan on one of those websites I'm definitely going to try not to overpay for it like I currently keep doing on comics but I most likely will. Thank you again for your writing and I hope there might be a Blue Devil retelling story up your sleeve.
Oh man! So this summer we also moved from one end of town to another and holy fudgetrucks comics are not easy to move. I still haven’t found a good spot for the long boxes but the TPBs have a new bookcase to call home.
Loved the first issue of absolute Superman. Can’t wait for the second one. I was specially impressed by your version of krypton. Rafa art is amazing as usual. Congrats.
I'm late to this - hope you're having a great time at the con. But had to share my excitement for you returning to Star Wars, especially seeing more of Scar Squadron! I loved those guys. It was your run, along with Kieron's Vader, that got me into comics!
i am SUPER excited for your superman run. this sounds incredible:
"As a kid who was first drawn into comics in large part because of Superman and grew into a comic writer who has lived in Kansas for almost twenty years, this series means a lot to me. I’m pouring as much action and heart and heart-breaking surprises into it as I can, issue after issue.
My goal is basically to make this series mean for my time at DC what THOR meant for my time at Marvel."
congrats and good luck and hooray and thanks for sharing as always!
Sana is definitely my favorite of the characters you added to Star Wars. I actually own the original artwork from her reveal in Star Wars 6. It’s such a great scene all around.
Ashcan me, baby
Oh man, as a George Lucas Talk Show fan, I wish I was gonna be there to see you!

And our Disney Cruise is next month 😉
Hope you enjoy the cruise. We did the Disney Wish and really loved it.
Thanks! We’re on the Disney Magic. It’ll be our second time. Always fun.
Hope to see you there!
Hey, thanks for mentioning my piece on Rafa’s art and design on Absolute Superman, Jason. I really appreciate it! Have a great time at NYCC!
