I've been waiting for you to write Batman for a long time. Not usually a fan of the more fantastical space stuff when it comes to Batman but I'm sure you'll make it cool.
Then hopefully later you can do some proper mystery/action/adventure Batman stuff and show Chip how it's done. He clearly needs help.
It's definitely got a gritty sci fi vibe to it. This is a young Batman, not too far removed from Year One, so the fun is in seeing that guy deal with these sorta alien threats for the first time.

No, this isn’t directly connected to any previous Batman stories. But it’s definitely got some Atari Force and Omega Men and Year One in its DNA.
