If you ever come to San Diego, make reservations (super in advance) for False Idol Tiki! Awesome place, great drink menu!

Yeah, I've somehow missed that place on my previous San Diego trips, but it's for sure on my list. Looks great. No SDCC for me this year though. Thanks!

Hey Jason I’m really excited to see how they weave your Thor and Mighty Thor runs. I’m loving the weird and wild ride that is your Avengers run and can’t wait to see where it goes. Also I have the first issue of your new Punisher run and it blew me away. The second issue is burning a hole through my pull list. What piqued my curiosity was you mentioning the creator owned series you got down the pike. One of my favorite series all time is Southern Bastards. Which I will always be an evangelist for and wait for its return. Hopefully this question isn’t asking for info that is spoilery but are any of the upcoming series crime based?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Cameron. Don't wanna say anything more at the moment. The first series you'll hear about soon. The others, I think I'll want to roll out one at a time. But all are in various stages of being in the works, as we speak.

Do you think King Conan will also get a deluxe hardcover collection at some point? Or possibly combined with your first Conan miniseries for an omnibus, albeit kind of a skinny one?

Also, would love to see you write Daredevil someday. You're my favorite writer and he's one of my favorite characters. I think you would smash it!

In terms of Conan, I've asked the same question myself. I'd love to see one big collection of all my recent Conan work. But given that supply issues are making it difficult for Marvel to print the collections they've already solicited, I doubt they'll be able to add this one to the schedule before the rights lapse.

And thanks, I really loved writing Daredevil during War of the Realms.

It's a shame and a tragedy that you won't be continuing your Conan run since Marvel's license is about to expire.

Why did they only hold the license for 3 years this time when they held it for 30 last time and Dark Horse had it for 15? Seems like a weird move.

And yes, the way you wrote Daredevil in those few brief issues he was featured in War of the Realms was amazing. I would love to see what you could do with a lengthy DD story.

I wrote KING CONAN with the idea that if I never wrote another Conan story, I would've said what I wanted to say with the character.

But that doesn't mean I don't have more Conan stories I wouldn't mind telling at some point.

I really hope that can happen one day. Besides the original 20 or so short stories and one novel by REH, I'd say you're the best Conan writer.

Busiek, Truman, and their artistic collaborators were pretty great too.

So you can't really say what happened with the license, huh? I asked Fredrik Malmberg about it on Twitter and he made it sound like it was Marvel's choice, not his. Don't really see why they wouldn't want to keep going though.

Priorities always shift and change, especially in the midst of times like these.

I can’t wait to see the movie. It seems wrong to me that you are listed as a creative consultant instead of CREATOR.
