Hey Jason - amazing first issue, can't wait for issue two to drop.

I'm trying to collect all variants. Did any other retailers or artists do exclusive covers for Issue 1 besides Third Eye Comics?

Yeah, there are a few different retailer variants. One from ECGCE with an original cover. I haven't seen that one for sale yet. Third Eye has a design variant, featuring Mahmud's character design for the Spyder Wytches. Signed copies of that one should be up in my online store very soon. And there's one from Comic Inspiration that's a foil version of Peach's cover.

I’ll be picking this issue up because: It looks fantastic, I’m a big fan of Marvel’s classic Ant Man books and Micronauts. And yes, I know this will be none of that!

Hello Mr. Aaron. First off, congrats on the success of Bug Wars issue one! It must be incredibly satisfying to know all the hard work and you and the team have been putting into the book is paying off and has struck a chord with people. Second, I really loved the one on one interview you did with Chip Zdarsky in the latest issue Zdarsky Comic News. Did you ever find out how Chip got your email?

Just wanted to say I really liked Batman Off-World, and I hope you get to write more Batman soon, preferably in a more "classic Batman" setting or story that isn't set in space.

I also really liked your Savage Sword of Conan story The Ensorcelled. I very much hope you write more Conan in the future. Your Conan run at Marvel turned me into a fanatic. I read all the Robert E. Howard stories, Roy Thomas/BWS/Buscema comics, and the Busiek/Truman/Nord/Giorello Dark Horse comics. I'm a little embarrassed to say I have spent a small fortune on the best and biggest editions of all that material. But I love it so fuck it! Anyway, thanks for all the good stories.

Cheers, Tyler. I’m really happy to know I turned you onto Conan. I would also recommend the Robert Jordan Conan novels. And yeah, I do have another Batman story in mind. It’s just a question of when it makes sense to do it. We’ll get there.

I am very much looking forward to this book. Sectaurs was one of my favorite books as a kid and Micheal Crichton's "Micro" was a fun read ( although he didn't personally finish it). I am flying back from Cali on Saturday, so I will miss you at Third Eye. I left a few other books with Steve for you to sign. Some of the guys will be buying a few books from the table for me too. Have a fun weekend at Third Eye!

I love Sectaurs. I’ve got some of those sitting next to my desk. I don’t know Micro, so that’s going on the To Read list. Thanks, JJ.
