My LCS forgot to keep my pull list going with Bug Wars, which broke my heart, so I’ll definitely look forward to the trade. (I’m a super-nerd first printing kind of guy, and said no to the reprints.)
Loving what you’ve laid down with it! I even have the zero issue a friend snagged for me at NYCC last year!
If you ever told me I’d find a book about a medieval fantasy series centered around a backyard full of sentient bug people thrilling, I’d have laughed. Now I can’t help but be excited for book 2. Just curious if you envision this as a trilogy, or if you are going to keep putting out as many volumes as you have stories to tell?
Also congrats on Absolute Superman’s continued success. Such a dark, tragic, yet exciting tale that has gripped me from the start. As has your choice of villain for young Kal. Why was it that you chose Ra’s Al Ghul to be your antagonist, let alone this version of him (seems like a mixture of Vandal Savage and Mammoth Mogul)? Is there plans to show how this Ra’s went about going from choosing to become a business tycoon over his usual league of assassins leader route? Also kudos on the Talia twist. That I should have seen coming but never did. Won’t lie, be interesting to see more of her interactions with Absolute Superman, and see if they ever become anything like her canon selves relationship with Bruce.
By the by, been on a re-read of your celebrated Thor run (still some of my favorite work among all modern takes), and I was curious what you were reading or drawing on inspiration for for those first 4 volumes of your run? What books you were reading to get the tone, language, and dialogue just right for Thor, for Gorr, For Malakieth, and the rest (especially for the accursed who seemed such a gleefully pure evil character I couldn’t imagine where you drew on for some of his dialogue). I’m always curious as to where writers draw inspiration from, so I hope you don’t mind me asking this.
Anyways, can’t wait for vol 1 of Bug Wars to come out, and for this week’s issue of Absolute Superman! Keep up the great work, Jason!

Cheers. Copies of the singles are also available in my online shop.
Oh! Thanks for the heads up, man!
It’s the Summer of Jason Aaron for my money. TMNT has also been a blast. All three books have been a joy to read.
I briefly misunderstood and thought you were introducing Absolute Ambush Bug. I can dream…
There can be only one Ambush Bug.
That reminds me of the Ambush Bug pitch during DC’s first Round Robin fan voting game. All these years later, I still wish it won.
Dear Jason,
Congrats on all the successes!
Excited to read all that you've got coming out!
The books all look beautiful!
Thanks for sharing!
Love

Thanks as always, Myq.
The absolutely outstanding one-shot comic GODZILLA VS. THOR is reviewed in issue 10 of IMAGINATOR MAGAZINE. It gets a rave review!
