SOUTHERN BASTARDS Gets the Greenlight for Pilot at Hulu
As announced today, SOUTHERN BASTARDS has gotten a pilot pickup for Hulu, from Onyx Collective, POV Entertainment, and Proximity Media, in Association With Fifth Season.
The pilot script is written by Bill Dubuque, co-creator of “Ozark,” and will be directed by Nia DaCosta. Matt Olmstead serves as showrunner. Layne Eskridge of POV Entertainment executive produces, along with Proximity Media and Gabriel Nadig executive producing as well. Proximity was founded by Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian.
I’ve been working on this for years now and couldn’t be more excited about the package that’s been put together and the chance to bring Craw County to life on your TV screen. Stay tuned.
I am curious if this means the comic is coming back…or if Jason will finish it in the show.
